While driving around and taking a different route back to Spokane we meandered through a town and found a sign to a reserve center. Of course, we had to check it out!
We drove through some rural areas and came upon a mining town. Of course it was midday and most people were indoors. The weather was turning cold and wet but it was still beautiful and interesting.

Some sculpture representing the type of life that once took place in this small town, or perhaps, continues!
As we experienced rain we heard on the radio, it was snowing on the pass we went over a few hours earlier!
